The stud has twice been South Africa's Champion Breeder and has bred the winner of the country's most prestigious race, the Durban July, on three occasions – Firstly with Space Walk in 1994, Super Quality in 1997 and the most recent of which with Super Brand's half-brother, Trademark in 2001, who went on to race successfully in the U.S, winning two grade II races at Saratoga in 2003. Among the studs numerous notable descendants and group 1 victories, include Counter Action - a dual group I winner, Model Man - The Equimark Vintage Mare and Weanling Sale takes place this Thursday 21 May which has 181 entries. With the inclusion of the The sale commences at 11 am at the Equimark sales centre in Durbanville and presents a rare opportunity for breeders wishing to enjoy a small a part of what has proven to be an historic and traditional band of broodmares.
