Very tall, rangy horse with lots of promise. Will take plenty of time to mature but could mature into a very handy staying type.

Race Report, Kenilworth, Tuesday, 11/11/08 Event: Race 3, Fibre Knit Maiden Plate Distance: 1400m Finished: 4th Post Race Comments: A little green first time, but he ran on well from the back of the field to finish 4th. A promising debut as he will need further. Race Report Kenilworth, 9/12/08 Event: Race: 8, Maiden Plate Distance: 1800m Finished: 1st Post Race Comments: Dropped out at midfield from a bad draw. He ran on very well in the straight to win going away by 4 or 5 lengths. He looks to have a bright future. Race Report Kenilworth, 3/01/09 Event: Race 5, Starlit (2005) MR 72 Handicap Distance: 1800m Finished: 5th Post Race Comments: Was fancied to run a big race this time, but became a little one paced in the straight and finished a slightly disappointing 5th. He did, however, pull up lame behind and this might have been the excuse. Race Report Clairwood, 26/4/09 Event: Event: Race 5, Natty Moodley Associates Novice Plate Distance: 1450m Finished: Post Race Comments: Scratched Race Report Clairwood, 27/5/09 Event: Race 4, MR 72 Handicap Distance: 1800m Finished: Unplaced Post Race Comments: Was slow out the gates and raced at the back of the field. He must have needed this race quite badly as he didn’t run on too well in the straight. He was a little disappointing and we will have to try and find the reason. Race Report Clairwood, 24/6/09 Event: Race 7, Rainbow Chickens MR 73 Handicap Distance: 1900m Finished: 2nd Post Race Comments: Caught wide all the way around and came under a hard ride in the straight and did extremely well to get up and run a short head 2nd on the line. Race Report Greyville, 10/7/09 Event: Race 7, Bass Beams MR 82 Handicap Distance: 1900m Finished: 5th Post Race Comments: Once again he was beaten by the slow pace on the Greyville track. He couldn’t quicken up in time and is obviously not suited to this track. Race Report Clairwood, 19/7/09 Event: Race 4, More Quarters MR 74 Handicap Distance: 2000m Finished: 2nd Post Race Comments: Had a good race this time and ran well, but found one too good for him on the day. Race Report Clairwood, 5/8/09 Event: Race 7, Max Scott Engineering Sales MR 72 Handicap Distance: 1800m Finished: 2nd Post Race Comments: Once again found one to beat him. He is a very tall, backward type and probably has been raced too soon together in his last few races. He will travel back home now and be given time to strengthen up. Race Report Kenilworth, 12/9/09 Event Race: 6, Shumani Printers MR 80 Handicap Distance: 1200m Finished: 3rd Post Race Comments: Ran a good sprint first run back. He ran on well from the back of the field to finish 3rd. Race Report 7/10/09 Event: Race 4, Merit Rated 72 Handicap Distance: 1600m Finished: 1st Post Race Comments: He coped surprisingly well with the course and ran on very well to win comfortably. The pace fortunately was good, which suited him. Race Report Durbanville, 28/10/09 Event Race 6, Merit Rated 74 Handicap Distance: 1800m Finished: 1st Post Race Comments: Took a while to unravel in the straight, but he got up on the line to win. Race Report Kenilworth, 14/11/09 Event: Race 6, Merit Rated 80 Handicap Distance: 2400m Finished: 1st Post Race Comments: Saw out the trip well and won a good race again. He will now be tried in the staying features this season. Race Report Kenilworth, 27/11/09 Event: Race 6, Durbanville Cup (Listed) Distance: 2800m Finished: 1st Post Race Comments: Ran on very well in the straight to win after suffering interference at the 1400m mark, causing him to be a long way out of his ground turning for home. Race Report Kenilworth, 5/01/10 Event: Race7, Peninsula Handicap (Grade 2) Distance: 1800m Finished: Unplaced Post Race Comments: This run can be ignored as he raced wide most of the way round. The rather slow pace didn’t help either. Race Report Kenilworth, 20/2/10 Event: Race 8, Merit Rated 94 Divided Handicap Distance: 1800m Finished: 2nd. Post Race Comments: Ran a very good race after s short lay-off. He was always at the rear and ran on well in the straight to finish 2nd. Race Report Scottsville 27/4/10 Event: Race 8, The Sledgehammer (Listed) Distance: 1800m Finished: 4th Race Report Clairwood, 16/5/10 Event: Race 6, Highland Night Cup (Non-black type) Distance: 2500m Finished: 1st Post Race Comments: Although not in the strongest field, he quickened up nicely and won a good race. He looks to have improved this season. Race Report Greyville, 26/6/10 Event: Race 7, Canon Gold Cup (Grade 1) Distance: 3200m Finished: 4th Post Race Comments: As was expected he was a long way out of his ground turning for home, but he ran on well indeed to finish 4th. Greyville is obviously not an ideal track for him.
